Packages are extremely portable, but are not necessarily guaranteed to work seamlessly with other packages or with your own website. That is why Marketpath developed the Marketpath Site Standards version 1. Packages developed using this standard should integrate comfortably with other packages developed using this standard, should be easy for both developers and non-technical editors to use, and should provide consistency between sites so that marketers and developers know intuitively what they need to do in order to accomplish their goals.
