How to begin

Work through these steps in order. Each one jumps to a section on this page.

Create an account or log in

You need a Marketpath CMS account to open the dashboard, work on sites, and take training.

Create an account Log in

• New accounts are free until you take a site live.
• You can sign in with email and password, or with Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or GitHub. Username and password are entered on separate screens. Two-factor authentication is optional.
• Your first session can start before you verify email. Verification is required before the next login, and before you can manage accounts, custom domains, or other users.

Find your way around the dashboard

After you log in, the dashboard is your home base for sites and account settings.

• Sites: every site you can access, with status and a link to open it.
• Recent activity: recent edits and publishing so you can pick up where you left off.
• User menu: profile, notifications, and help.

Open or create a site

From the dashboard, open a site you already work on, or create a new one if you are starting from scratch.

Create a site

• Choose New Site.
• Enter a name and, if you have one, a domain.
• Save. Marketpath creates the site so you can add pages, templates, and content.

Open an existing site

• Select the site from your sites list.
• The site editor loads so you can work on content or code, depending on your permissions.

Choose a training path

After you can log in and open a site, take the course that matches your role. Both paths are self-paced.
