While we do not normally combine feature and patch releases, this release is an exception. In addition to several bugfixes this release includes the abiltiy to auto-collapse fieldsets and the ability to share your live pages by QR code!
Collapsed Fieldsets
As we utilize fieldsets for more and more functionality, we have increasingly found ourselves wanting to be able to collapse all fieldset items by default in order to make the editing experience a little easier. And now we can.
QR Codes
For the uninitiated, a QR Code is a visual representation of a URL that is easily detected by image processing software. It is common to post QR codes in public spaces to make it easy for people to scan them with their phones instead of having to type the full URL in their mobile browser.
Now we have a QR Code generator built directly into Marketpath CMS, so that all you have to do to create one is click on the "Share" toolbar button and then select "QR Code" on the left side of the "Share This Page" dialog. From there you can either right-click on the image to save it or click on one of the links to open it in a different size.
Bugfixes and improvements
- Fix for editing URLs and other fields in fieldsets. This bug originally showed itself as the inability to load URL values in fieldset custom site settings.
- Fix for creating and editing image presets
- Corrected a couple UI bugs relating to trashed objects. Improved the user experience when untrashing multiple objects at once.
- Bugfix for the broken site package installation process.
